I’ll amazed at the bias shown by Chicago Press in reporting cases
about Illinois Eavesdropping Law. In Cook County there were three
Eavesdropping Cases: People v. Moore, People v. Drew and People v.
Melongo. In the first case, the jury acquitted the defendant. In the
last two cases, there are pending motions to dismiss. However, the
Chicago Press has completely ignored the Melongo’s case and focused all
its attention on the Drew’s case. Melongo recorded conversations with
Pamela Taylor for an allegedly altered court transcript. Mrs. Taylor is
a public official working at the criminal located at 2600th California
Ave. Melongo has spent 22 months in jail for this offense, is currently
out on house arrest, yet the local press in all of its many articles,
has completely ignored the Melongo’s case. Why? Maybe there’s a great
bias in the press against police to the extend that it has turned a
blind eye on the integrity of reporting the news. If it wants to report
news related to the Eavesdropping Law, then by all means, it should
report ALL of it; I’m extremely shocked at what’s happening here.

Melongo’s arguments on her motion to dismiss will be heard on March 13th, 2012. The presiding judge is Goebel.That’s what mean being impartial. Tell the ENTIRE story. Not just a snippet of it.

After ten years of joint custody, in 2003 my ex husband took my children. I had to wait six months to get a court apperance to even see them. I insisted that a court appointed phychologist interview my ex and the children as well as myself due to the fact that my ex was initiating parental alianation syndrone against me with my children. The court appointed psychologist stood in court and said my ex hated me and was doing everything in his power to make my children hate me too. What did the judge do? He gave my children to my ex! My oldest was old enough to realize what happened, but I lost my younger son. I was not even invited to his recent wedding. So what do I have to say about Judge Lipinot? I can't write it in a public forum, but I think you have a pretty good idea.

Mark S. Peebles prosecutor. I started with Judge Rice and he approved my "application to sue as poor sovereign" (ha ha) then went to belleville as i wanted trial by jury. first 2 times prosecutor did not show up 3rd time judge lopinot called him on the phone. college showed up took the motions. next court date peebles came in and asked what the deal was and dismissed it was julie katz who dismissed. I can share the motions with you. in email if you email me. Basically alorton code points to ch 11 of state statute which is rules of road not drivers license, registration, insurance. So they charged me with violating the ILCS rules of the road and wrote on tickets license, registration, insurance and thats what they arrested me for. I motioned to suppress tickets since it was on private property with no contract to patrol. I want to file title 42 at a federal level. Also looking to file Federal on the definition of person in Rule 37 in missouri - Tracy

I would say to represent yourself, since i don't believe there is an attorney who would challenge the arrest based on lack of jurisdiction and minimal damages. What was it they arrested you for?

I would say that you could file your case for false arrest and unlawful imprisonment, but you would have to show the officers acted "willfully and wantonly" without probable cause. Your claim of damages will dictate how the case is filed and how it will be heard. If damages are less than $50,000 they you would only have access to mediation before a panel of lawyers. I could have taken that route with my case, but I wanted a trial before a jury to see what the police did to me.

Remember, police are protected from lawsuits except for conduct that is "willful and wanton".

I'm curious, who was the prosecutor on your case, and the judge who dismissed? How did you challenge/present your case?

I do have a US Passport, that will be expiring soon and I have no intention of renewing it. I have looked into the World Passport and had some reservations/questions, but as a matter of expediency, it does seem like a "necessary" alternative.

How do you manage with yours? Any resistance at US borders? I hear you need a visa letter or something to that effect, is that correct? Since I have no other "papers" from a government authority, as all of my previous ones have been rescinded or destroyed, I will be needing something to placate the institutionalized ignorance of those who believe people are not real unless there is a supporting piece of paper.

Please update me with any suggestions/experiences you have had with your and what I can expect.

I got the suit against me from VILLAGE OF ALORTON dismissed. Now I'd like to return the favor. Would you suggest I keep representing myself or hire an attorney to sue the officer? I have this going for me...It was on private property which is why they dismissed. Everyone in St. Clair County knows that police don't patrol private parking lots even the law says they must have a contract filed at the county recorder. They arrested me on an ordinance violation, not a state offense, which you've pointed out they have to do.

Mark, do you have a US Passport ? Not sure if you would agree with this but I have World Passport that is not connected to a SSN, just has a number assigned to it. Under Article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights it says, "Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the BORDERS of each state" (Captilized Emphasis Added) : )

Well said. Sadly 'The People' are a bit too far gone in many cases and it is too bad there is no 'stepping stone' to take back your freedom. You can abide by the system, or you can reject the system completely. Anything inbetween is like miagi said "Squish like grape" which is too bad for an inbetween step would allow the govt to get used to the idea as well as the people to get used to freedom. . I lived outside the system for quite some time. I wasn't asserting my sovereignty or anything, I didn't like the system and refused to participate. I mostly lived through barter. I was about 16 when I began that trek. I got out of hand though and did commit a crime with a victim, turned myself in, did my time, got off parole, etc... I abide the system because I personally feel a debt beyond what the state of texas collected. One day I will feel that is enough, but that is my personal choice and I am aware of it. It would be much less offensive if they at least let everyone know what was going on, then you could choose to be a federal citizen or not. Perhaps that would be a good first 'stepping stone'. On reaching the age of majority have someone pull a "Now Bob by signing this agreement you are becoming a full fledged federal citizen with no real rights but those the government sees fit to let you have, but you get these 'benefits' social programs, schooling for your kids, huge public debt that is directly on your shoulders (and on and on) If you sign this other paper you are a citizen of one of the several states and as such you fall under the constitution, BUT you need to make your own way in life, No govt to back you up, you protect your own stuff. No food stamps, better have some land you can hunt on or where you can grow food if you think you'll be needing it. No govt can come take your stuff though on some statute that only applies if you sign that first paper (and on and on)
Hrm, this was supposed to be a "Well said, go you!" statement, I think I went overboard, but there is my two cents anyway. Don't worry I can personally back it, I've got a little silver tucked away. :)

At this time, there is no occupancy permit requirement for people not renting a home or apartment. That is not to say they might not try to pass one. If the present code is not successfully challenged or is allowed to stand then it is not unreasonable to assume they may apply it against people taking possession of homes in the future.

i have always known that the cops are our enemy and you should be prepared to defend your life from them.they are thieves and liars,so are judges who make up the law as they please.they do not respect the law so why should i?when i was 15 a cop tried to steal my brand new remmington 1100 while i was hunting,i told him he was interfering with a hunt which is a felony.he said hand the gun over and put his hand on his gun.i clicked off the safty and asked him if the thought he could draw his hand gun before i could squeeze the trigger three times.i told him no body would miss him for some time.he went away,sometimes i wish he had gone for his gun.

Yes, you can always withdraw a plea before a judgment is entered. As long as the case is still open and there has only been an appearance and no trial, you can withdraw your plea and demand a verified complaint be filed.
